At Soquietfilms, we focus on the development and production of lifelike and culturally valuable feature films springing from a new, experimental zeitgeist.
Soquietfilms aims to make films that touch people, because they are real. Stories from everyday life which resonate with the tension of our own surroundings. We describe sensitive characters who, by their multifaceted nature, show how diverse life really is. We are not afraid to confront uncomfortable topics, favoring authentic and intense portrayals of life. We find our stories in a modern Europe full of contrasts. We produce films that find their audience in the cinemas and on-demand platforms using our international network that we have cultivated over 20 years.
Claudia Rorarius
Claudia Rorarius was born in West-Berlin. She has been working successfully as a photographer. Her intense portraits of celebrities were published in numerous international magazines. At the same time she was studying direction at the renowned Academy of Media Arts Cologne where she realized several internationally awarded fiction and documentary films. Furthermore, she has shot the feature-length documentary SUSANNE in cooperation with ZDF German Television. CHI L’HA VISTO (WHO SAW HIM) was her first feature film she also supervised as a producer. The film was invited to numerous international film festivals (i.e. Montréal World Film Festival, Int. Film Festival Karlovy Vary). In 2021 she shot her second feature film TOUCHED, she also received pre-production funding from WDR German TV for the feature film PINK IS BLACK. Claudia Rorarius is currently finishing her third feature film KEN – THE MOVIE, further more she in in script development for HUMANOID her next feature film, a since fiction set in the near future.
